They Carmelite Monks live a hidden and solitary life in order to commune with God and intercede for your intentions. For this reason, we maintain strict hiddenness and separation from the world. In order to keep our solitude, we are not able to visit with travelors or tourists nor do we have a guest house to accomodate travelors. If you have a need to visit the monastery, please call our phone number and leave a message on the visiting extension at least 48 hours before your planned visit. In order to visit the monastery you must recieve permission from the monks beforehand. We live on a 16 mile private road. If you have not recieved permission from Fr. Prior and the monks before visiting, the neighbors to the monastery may consider you as trespassing. Please call ahead 48 hours before your visit so that we can approve you and give you instructions for your visit.
